Thank you for being such a kind, helpful, and informative professor this semester. I greatly appreciated the feedback you gave me in your emails and how your grading and expectations were clear. I also like the theme of your class. It has opened me up to a lot of things I haven't known before. If it weren't for this class, I never would have attended the Saddleback/IVC Research Symposium, which was a great experience for me. My writing improved a lot this semester. I learned the importance of metacommentary and counterarguments, which I never really cared to use much before.

Thanks so much for sharing such an interactive and experiential teaching strategy at the retreat on Friday. Everyone seemed to love it and we left the program clear on how to implement it in our own classes. I can't tell you how grateful I feel for your approach to teaching and service to the department.
